Immigration Examinations

Dr. Antonio Serru is a licensed physician approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) as a US Civil Surgeon to conduct medical examinations for immigration purposes, including adjustments of status. Having the I-693 medical examination done correctly is critical, since the USCIS will not process your application if it is done incorrectly. Caring Health Center has the correct form.

Call us today to schedule your appointment. You will be required to bring your passport or other government issued photo identification. Identification must be current. Please also bring any and all documentation of prior vaccinations and testing (whether from your country of origin or in the United States) and payment for the examination and testing.

The Medical Examination will include the following: Physical exam, Blood Test, Urine Test, Tuberculosis testing, and analysis of vaccinations. Once the medical exam and testing is completed, the Civil Surgeon will certify the Form I-693. The Civil Surgeon must perform the medical examination in accordance with the Technical Instructions for the Medical Examination of Aliens in the United States, issued by the CDC. We make every attempt to fill your forms out right so your immigration process goes smoothly. Our job is to conduct the examination in the way that is the best and most cost-effective for you, and in full compliance with the USCIS regulations.

After the exam, Dr. Serru will complete Form I-693 and seal the form in an envelope for you to submit to USCIS. You will also get a copy of the completed Form I-693 for your personal records. Do not open the sealed envelope as the USCIS will not accept an envelope that has been altered. As per USCIS requirements you must submit the sealed envelope directly to USCIS or provide to your attorney for handling.
